SHARING OF PEERS & STAFF

We are all in this together. Over the years, CEDARS has organised a range of initiatives, including seminars, workshops, and training sessions, to promote awareness of SEN (Special Educational Needs). These endeavours have received enthusiastic participation from members of the HKU community, including students and staff. Participants have gained valuable insights on fostering inclusivity within the campus and beyond. They have learned to use non-discriminatory language and to be more mindful and considerate of the needs of their peers with SEN. Through the workshops, the staff members also acquired practical techniques to support students with SEN and help them thrive in the learning environment alongside their peers.
