ABOUT THE AWARD

The Excellent and Inclusive Practice Award recognises the exceptional contributions of HKU staff members in addressing the challenges faced by students with documented disabilities or SEN conditions. These individuals’ outstanding efforts and good practices uphold the values of equality, respect, and social inclusion on our campus.

CEDARS-SEN Support held the Inaugural Award Presentation Ceremony for the Excellent and Inclusive Practice Award. This significant event not only honoured the staff awardees and nominees for their outstanding dedication and inclusive teaching approaches towards our students, but also signified the University’s commitment to foster a diverse and inclusive campus environment.
